Jennifer Wilde, RN, BSN, CEN
Founder & CEO, WildeCare Education, Inc.
Jennifer Wilde has spent 28 years in emergency medicine — not managing from an office, but at the bedside. She has trained hundreds of new graduate and transitioning nurses in high-volume emergency departments across the Pacific Northwest.
Over those decades, she watched the same pattern repeat: capable, intelligent nurses struggling — not because they lacked knowledge, but because no one had ever taught them a structured way to think through clinical decisions under pressure. Nursing school teaches content. It doesn’t teach the cognitive process that expert clinicians use every shift.
So Jennifer built one. IIAR — Identify, Intervene, Assess, Reassess — is the clinical reasoning framework she developed after 28 years of observing what separates confident nurses from overwhelmed ones. It’s discipline-agnostic, psychometrically validated, and now the foundation of the first board certification in clinical reasoning: the CRS-BC, issued by the independent American Board of Clinical Reasoning.
WildeCare Education is the company Jennifer founded to bring IIAR to every nurse who needs it. The company built the curriculum, the app, and the validated assessment instrument. ABCR issues the credential. Together, they’re closing the gap between what nursing school teaches and what the bedside demands.
